The story so far and next steps...

The Ross-on-Wye Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) area was formally adopted in September 2013 with a boundary that anticipated the merger of the then Ross-on-Wye and Ross Rural Parish Councils into the current Ross-on-Wye Town Council.

The formal public consultation on the Draft Plan started on August 12th 2018. This has been publicised in the local press, library, Town Council, and by numerous letters to statutory consutees and local people who commented previosly.

Once the consultation is completed on October 7th herefordshire Council will decide if it can proceed to Examination by an authorised independnent planning expert; this person may require changes to be made to address comments and/or to meet legal requirements.  Finally it will come back to the voters of Ross for a referendum on acceptance.
