The former Empire Sports Club Development
The new development at the former Empire Sports Club aims to bring greater vitality and added community benefits to this area of Bristol. The existing Grade II listed building, formally known as The Empire Sports Club, will be fully refurbished, renovated and restored into a fully functional building that will provide much needed housing accommodation within the Bristol City Centre area.
The Empire Club building is currently suffering from damp, decay and other serious structural defects. The proposed scheme will sensitively restore the building in a sympathetic manner aiming to safeguard the building's long term future as an iconic part of the local community.
Development on Car Park Land
The car park land will provide ten new Low Embodied Energy family homes. The development of 10 new highly sustainable, low energy homes in such close proximity to the city centre is very exciting and will greatly benefit the local community by drastically improving the use, character and appearance of Newfoundland Road.
